What's the difference in a Caiman and an alligator visually.(Know they are separate species.)?

the gator has a wider snout, and a more broad body. the caiman has a thinner snout while lacking the upward protuding teeth that are left exposed when the mouth is closed. caimans as adults are also only a third as long as a grown gator. caimans are also grey-ish looking compared to the darker sometimes even bluish looking aduly gator
