MLA title page question?

I have an MLA formatted paper due, and after writing the paper I was alerted I needed a title page, which shouldn't be a problem, BUT when I creat a blank page at the top of my paper to add the title page, I cannot figure out how to not have a page number on that title page. It says title page is 1, then the actual start of t the paper is page 2? I am using 2007 word. Even when I format page number to start at 0 the title page actually says 0.
